MyTaxTrail is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled within the MyTaxTrail mobile application.

MyTaxTrail does not collect or store any personal information on external servers.

The app may access the following information locally on your device only:

• Photos taken through the app (receipt images)
• Manually entered data such as:
  • Receipt type
  • Amount
  • Date
  • Notes or additional information
  • Tax reference (if entered)

All data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with us or any third party unless you choose to share it.

2. How Your Data Is Used

• Receipt data is saved only on your device
• CSV files generated from your data may be shared by you using email, cloud storage, or file transfer tools
• We do not access, collect, or transmit your data to any servers

3. Permissions

To function correctly, MyTaxTrail may request permission to:

• Access your camera (to capture receipt images)
• Access device storage or files (to save receipt images and CSV files)
• Access the internet only when you choose to share data using external apps or services

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

If you manually share files using another app or service (such as email or cloud storage), the handling of your data is governed by that third party’s privacy practices.

MyTaxTrail does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

5. Your Rights

You remain in full control of your data:

• You can delete receipt images and CSV files at any time
• You can uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

6. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app or in the App Store listing.
